Brownies 

Wednesdays, 6:15 - 7:30pm
For girls of 7-10 years

The Brownies have returned from their summer holidays full of enthusiasm for
their new term of Brownie Adventures. They have been joined by four new
Brownies; three that came up from Rainbows and one girl who has not been a
Rainbow. We hope that the new Brownies will hold their Promise Celebration
in candlelight out in the church garden in a couple of weeks.
Since starting back the Brownies have enjoyed a newspaper night, where they
made very fashionable outfits and accessories out of newspaper; a wide game
at Blackford Pond; and a keep-fit night run by one of our Brownie parents.
They are looking forward to dooking for apples, eating doughnuts that are dangling
from a string, and trying to find sweeties in icing sugar (without using
their hands) at our Hallowe’en Party.
